What Causes Itchy Red Spots On The Buttocks?

Hi my 7 yr old has red itchy spots at the bottom of her back at the split of her cheecks. She said she had then last night but only mentioned it 30 mins ago. If the spots had head they dont now. Over the last few days she has a few spot on her face and she says her toe hurts on her right foot. I cant see anything wrong with it.

I can understand your concern for itchy red spots on the buttocks of your kid. After analyzing your query with best diligence I can make out a possibility of simple hives in your query. The random appearance of the red spots laong with temporary stays with self subsidence gives an indication for the same. It is quite common in kids if they have some worm infestation. I suggest my patients to take wormicidal tablet under a dermatological supervision. For itching and red spots an antihistamine can be taken. I prefer to give Des-loratadine for two times as per the body weight. In case if there is increase in the spots then can meet a dermatologist for best guidance.
