What Causes Itchy Scalp With Lumps?

My scalp feels crawly. When I scratch it, lumps form. When the lump burst, it has blood and pus. It is now affecting my ears. There is a build up in my ears. Last night, something in my ear popped. (bloody pus). I ve had these symptoms on and off for years.

Two possibilities come to mind.The first is called seborrheic dermatitis which is also commonly also referred to as dandruff.The second is scalp psoriasis.Both three conditions have a tendency for aggregation in winter season.Treatment options include ketoconazole shampoos and topic steroids to reduce inflammation.
