What Causes Itchy,tickling Sensation In Ear?

I have an itchy, tickling sensation in my right ear, particularly at night. I have consulted my doctor who says he saw nothing in the ear which might cause this. however, he syringed my ears to remove any excess wax. there was very little of this.
The tickling continues. What do you think it might be?

hello, itching in ears can be due to dandruff, allergic rhinitis, eczema, psoriasis and diabetes- if ur not d victim of this u can tabe tab. citrizine10 mg once daily for 7 days and ear drop oflox- d ( ofloxacin+ dexamethasone) 3drops/3 times/1wk. all d best.
