Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Eight year old daughter had mono 4 months ago, now has rash for 2weeks all over torso and neck, feels like is going to throw up at night and has always had a belly that protrudes more than others , aand will have random joint pains. Im getting concerned that something is wrong.
As with the symptoms, I think you should get this check with the pediatrics. Because sometimes kids develop some infection which can lead to other symptoms. Having checked in early stages is better for the kid always. As you said the pain keeps moving from one joint to another we can get a feeling of rheumatism but your kid is too young to fall in that category.
Having a physical meet up and examination by the pediatrics will be surely needed rather avoiding it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
