What Causes Kidney Area Pain With Fibrous Substance In The Urine?
I have pain in my right side similar to pain I have previously had from kidney stones. Today I found a small (less than a grain of rice size) piece of black fibrous substance in my urine. You can sort of pull the fibres apart on it. what could this be? the pain has not gone
Pain in Right loin with previous history of stone disease is mostly due to recurrence of stone in kidney .
What you have seen as a black fibrous piece is mostly a Matrix stone which gets passed down in pieces .
Get it confirmed by pathological test of the stone passed else you can preserve the next stone that you will pass in urine and submit it for test to confirm the diagnosis .
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis. 1) Urine routine 2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis.
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
