General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

I suggest you not to worry about cracking or popping when it isn't associated with pain or swelling.
If you have cracking or popping that does cause pain or swelling, though you should do an xray of the knees for further.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
