What Causes Knee Pain And Ringing In The Ears Post Walking?

I walk every morning and this morning my right leg at the knee started aching, then it felt swollen up my leg I made it to my house and ears were ringing and I felt like I was about to pass out, I m 66 year old female on 20 lisenopril, checked my blood pressure and It was 78 over 58, I drank some water and ate a bagel and felt better, feeling fine now just not much energy. Would it do any good to go to doctor now?

Hello,

Your symptoms of ringing in ears might be related to the hypotensive episode you had. Blood pressure was too low in the morning. You should check with your physician as to correct dosage of lisinopril.

High dosage may be the reason for decreased blood pressure. Knee pain might be due to degenerative changes at this age.

I would advise X-ray of the involved knee to check for joint spaces and osteophytes. It can be done at any time you visit the hospital and is not emergency.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
