What Causes Knee Pain While Bending The Legs?
When I sleep at night I bend my left leg - it starts to ache - I sometimes find it difficult to bend and lift my leg resorting to using my hand to push my leg up. the pain is at the back of my knee (where it bends - i did have a sking accident over 12 months ago when my knee/leg was twisted backwards whilst snow ploughing - I am very worried about it as it ached whilst on the areoplane. I am a very active 51 year old - 5ft 3 in and weight just under 9 stone -

I recommend performing a MRI of the knee joint in order to exclude possible menisc rupture. Consulting with an orthopedist is necessary too.
