What Causes Knee Pain While Playing?

Yes I was playing softball about 4 weeks ago and pulled my quad and then my left knee was sore in the back by my mcl. I played softball again yesterday and now my knee hurts when I slowly run, sit down, walk, twist it, or bend my knee certain ways or behind my other leg. Was just trying to figure out what could be the cause of the pain.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your problem is most likely a meniscal injury.A physical examination by orthopedician can give clue about that.A x ray followed by MRI will be required to confirm it.Conservative therapy like NSAIDs icing and putting elastic bandage to knee and physiotherapy can be done initially.Quadriceps strengthening exercises also helps. If it persist more than 2 months a diagnostic arthroscopy can be carried out.Menisc or ligament injury if there can be corrected through that also.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
