Hi,I am Dr. Santosh Kondekar (Pediatrician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
my son is one year and two months old. He has a problem with his knees. He bends them slightly when he walks and after few steps he always falls down. When he stands up he doesn t stand up straight. What can I do about it and what is the reason for this.
At the age of 14 months, mild bending is normal. Toddlers (1-3 yrs) will walk and fall often until 16 months. that's OK. You just need to expose him in sunlight between 11 am to 3 pm at least 20 minutes in a week for adequate Vit D production which will help to produce stronger bones.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
