What Causes Knots On Base Of Hairline And Neck?

Hi...I have a knot (swollen gland) at the base of hairline on the right side. I also another knot (swollen gland) just beneath the 1st area but on my neck. In the top of my head on the right side I also have a knot that has developed. What are the possible/probable causes of this?
