What Causes Lack Of Blood Supply From Heart To Brain As Per Stress Test?
I did a stress test recently and was told that my heart is not squeezing enough to pump blood to my brains. Also I have thyroids problems /high blood pressure which my systolic is very high and dyastolic is low,no bp meds that I take lowers my bp what you think is causing this problem?
Hi welcome to HCM. Treadmill testing can detect pump failure of heart due to impaired coronary circulation. This is manifested in the form of exercise induced ischemia. The prime causes of which would be elevated blood pressure in your case. This can result in impaired blood flow to brain.Coronary angiogram would have accurately detect the blocks in the circulation.Antihypertensive drugs can help to control the blood pressure.Consult your cardiologist for further assistance. Thank you.
