What Causes Lack Of Bowel Movement And Vomiting Undigested Food After Eating?
Hey. My mom is puking undigested foods after eating5 hours later. She feels like she is puking up stomache acids up also. She has a sharp pain under both sides of her ribs and back. She has taken zofran, antacids, gas medicine, laxitives, and pepto through out the night and nothing has helped and still no bowel movement. What s wrong? And also. The pain under her ribs is -quote- killing her
I would advise you to take her to emergency room for an X Ray of abdomen in standing position, with blood investigation like CBC, Liver function test, serum lipase and amylase test or an ultrasound I'd need be.
Please follow these guidelines keep her nil orallly, don't give her anything to eat or drink until you see a doctor.
