What Causes Lack Of Erection After A Surgery At L4 And L5?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I have had L4 L5 L6 surgey. Ever since, I have not been able to maintain an erection once going from flat on my back to the the top position. Is ther a reason and what can I do to fix?

Hello,

It may be due to spinal cord injury.

As pundendal nerve help in erection.

Due to spinal surgery, there may be injury to that nerve.

For further assessment you may require MRI after surgeon consultation.

Till then you can take tablet sildenafil one hour before sexual act
