What Causes Lack Of Interest After Taking Eptoin?
my son is 21 yrs. having epilepsy since he was 8 yrs. After taking various medicines how he is on eptoin 100 three times a day. Now he is not having fits but he speaks less and not interested in doing anything is that taking so much medicine has affected him

Eptoin (phenytoin ) may produce sedation and may contribute to his present taciturn state. One has to monitor plasma concentrations of Eptoin (phenytoin ) -Anticonvulsant effect: 10–20 µg/mL and accordingly the dosage may be adjusted.
