Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...dear sir i m raj i given my wife one mtpill in night then after 48 hr,1misoprostol orally and vaginally then after 12 hr,again same dose but till now menstruation didnt come? what is the reason behind it

Hi.... it could be a failed abortion where in spite of abortion pill the baby still continues to grow, in that case you may be advised by your doctor to undergo suction evacuation after confirmation of continuation of pregnancy.
Very rarely in such type of scenario pregnancy may be outside uterus if you have not confirmed it before scan..
Third thing is some people just take abortion pill if expected cycle is prolonged thinking they are pregnant without confirming pregnancy but in fact they are not pregnant at all. I hope its not the scenario in your case.
I suggest you go for a scan to find out the cause.
