My 24 year old son had an ultrasound which revealed enlarged lymph nodes in his neck. He is now being told to get a biopsy to check for lymphoma. I would like to know what the chances are that he does or does not have lymphoma, and what the differential diagnoses are... Thank you. Plse respond to YYYY@YYYY
Hi, thanks for your query. Chances of lymphoma are 10 %. Other differential diagnosis is viral lymphadenitis, tuberculosis. FNAC is better than the scanning.
