What Causes Large Number Of Fibroids Inside Uterus?
I went to radiology today and had ultrasound. The ultrasound technician said that I had a large number of fibroids inside my uterus and an extremely enlarged uterus that was very shifted to the right. Could this cause extreme pain inside of my hip that shoots down my the back of my leg? I also have this strange very full feeling that s inside of my right hip is that normal? I am 36 years old and had a tubal ligation approximately 12 years ago. I do not plan to have anymore children, is it possible in a situation like this to do a partial hysterectomy leave the ovaries and do this vaginally without having to cut into my abdomen?
Your ultrasound finding suggests enlarged uterus with large fibroid in the uterus. It may be painful but inter vertebral disc prolapse should be rule out as you have radiating pain to leg. Fibroid is a benign tumour of uterus and its treatment depend upon many things like age, symptoms, family is completed or not. Fibroid can be managed by conservative means or by surgery. It need proper evaluation. You may need partial hysterectomy as family is completed.Uterus can be removed vaginally. You need evaluation by a gynecologist.
