What Causes Large Patches Of Red Hot Skin On Both The Butt Cheeks?
My son is 2.5yrs and today developed large patches of red hot skin on both butt cheeks that practically covers his whole bottom, what could it be...? It has gotten worse as the day has progressed... He isn't complaining. We just started potty training, he's running around naked... thanks

I have gone through your query.Your kids problem is most likely diaper dermatitis.Calamine lotion and avoiding diapers will help for some.Zinc oxide ointment is also used. Candidiasis should be ruled out.In case of that antifungal agent is also used.Hope this may help you.
