What Causes Large Pelvic Bone In A Male?

I am a slender man but I have a large pelvic bone and I feel that it is very unattractive. Two of my brothers also have this problem; one brother has the perfect normal T shape that most men have. Do we have abnormal skeletons? Could this be a hormonal deformity? Working out detracts the eye from it a little. I have a short & narrow waist, long legs, wide hips, small shoulders. I don t hate it but I m not crazy about it either, because I just never thought it was normal. Is it normal? It makes buying clothing difficult; I have to go by hip size, not waist. None of the normal body type classifications seem to fit me; I m too curvy which seems abnormal. No, I do not have breasts.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

It is probably a congenital syndrome, as your brother has it too, my suggestion to you is to accept it as it is and keep it out of your mind.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
