What Causes Large Red Colored Circle On Elbow?

Hello! I am a 20 year old college student. I woke up yesterday morning with one big red ring-like circle on the inside of each elbow. I marked them and they haven t grown. There are no bumps or raised skin and I don t think it is dry skin. The inside of the ring is starting to fill in red. My inner arms are becoming more sore with time. I have researched and found that this could possibly have to do with celiac disease? I have had issues with my gluten consumption recently. Could you help me figure out what this is?

Hi

Sudden overnight development of a reddish bruise over the exposed areas of body could be suggestive of an insect bite reaction . It is very unlikely to be associated with celiac disease.
You need to apply a topical steroid cream like cortisone over the affected area twice daily.
Take some oral antihistamines like Benadryl or levocetrizine along to relieve the associated itching and allergy.
