What Causes Larger Indentation On Right Leg Along With Pain In Leg?

I have an indentation on right leg in the muscle next to the bone half way down the calf. It is getting larger and is little larger than a golf ball. I do have spinal issues and lots of foot and leg pain and drawing of tendons when laying on my back or right side. That seems to trigger these episodes sowhat would cause the indentation?
