What Causes Late Periods Inspite Of Having A Negative Pregnancy Result?
I had sex with my partner approx 4 days before ovulation was to occur, I am due for my period today but nothing is happening and I don t feel any sign of them coming, I done a pregnosis pregnancy test and it came back negative, would I be best going to the dr s for a blood test if my period doesn t turn up in the next couple of days?
I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.
Its normal to get ur periods delayed by 3-4 days. If it's more than a week, it can be due to pregnancy, overweight or low body weight, Stress (mostly), Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), Thyroid problems or few other causes.
I advice you to - Serum beta HCG levels which is more reliable than HPT. - Check Hemoglobin levels - Thyroid function test. - Do YOGA & stress management - Nutritious diet rich in protein & iron - Exercise. - Consult a gynaecologist for further assistance if any.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
