My left outer ear has been itching for a year. I use cortisone cream most days which helps temporarily but it always comes back. My ear looks perfectly normal and I saw a dermatologist who guessed exema but I m sure that s not it. It kind of feels like a tickle but not in the canal just the outer part. Help it s driving me crazy!
Where is the exact location of itching? Is it in the external auditory canal or pinna? Probably, you may be suffering from otitis externa may be bacterial infection. Common in diabetic individuals. Please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
