Hi,

At age 51, being male, first get your HTN checked, eyes, nose, ears, throat, dental examination to be done. If everything is normal. based on your job profile, considering your tension with the history tension headache is the first possibility. Then if you have band like sensation, increases by evening.

Otherwise, CT scan is a must at age 51. Look for danger red flags, usually early morning aches, pain increases with defecation, micturition or associated with projectile vomiting.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Suneel, Internal Medicine Specialist
