What Causes Left Sided Chest Pain?

I have mild pain in the left chest near nipple (i am a man). It gets aggrevated when in tension. I have MVPS. I take medicine (varpamil) for that. Anti anxiety medicine works only for about half day. again i have to take the tab. again. what is this problem? which doctor i should consult?

Hello
You are already taking varpamil and whenever there is tension you feel pain in the chest on the left side .
Pain in the left side ( in spite of anti anxiety drugs) in male is concerning .
You need to investigated with E K G and echocardiogram to isolate the case.
I would recommend you visit a CARDIOLOGIST at the earliest and sort this problem .
However this pain may be a pain of angina pectoris (. precursor of heart attack)
