What Causes Left Sided Lower Abdominal Pain?

Hi, I have just come out of hospital after a five day stay, due to a bad flare up of chronic pancreatitis. In the past hour or so, I woke up with pain in my lower left abdomen. It s very sharp when I breathe in or move, and it feels like it s radiating from the front to the back with every breath, but is not effected by things like coughing. Laying on my back does help, but any movement also worsens the pain. I ve never had this before and it s completely different to my pancreatic pain. Background info, UK, female, aged 20. Suffer from asthma and chronic pancreatitis, due to type 3 sphincter of Oddi dysfunction. Smoker, around 5 a day, don t drink any alcohol, and eat a balanced diet.
