Dr. Hanif warmly welcomes you!
Thanks for consulting at my virtual clinic. I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I want to assure, I will take care all of your medical concerns.
You didn't mention what was the site of injection?
Any way, there are two possibilities. One is milder one and will need no concerns at large, and that is the side effect of the drug in the injection she was given(the
baclofen). It is muscle pains and muscle spasms due to injection. It is normal and will go away with every passing hour. Not a big deal.
Second is, very important possibility, and that is the injection needle being wrongly damaged the
nerve at the site of injection. There may be a swelling on site of injection with
redness and pain. If so, this needs to be taken care of in time.
Seek the medical care as needed. For pain give her
TYLENOL (only). Apply bengay ultra stretch gel topically wherever she feels the pain. Take her for
steam bath if she doesn't feel suffocated.
For the medicines, you may need a prescription from your local doctor. Do the same, if needed.
Hope I answered all of your questions. In future, if you need further, detailed and quick assistance on any health issue, feel free to ask me a question by writing my name as a reference in the start of your question. I will get back to you right away. Have a wonderful time ahead.
Regards!
