What Causes Leg Pain?

I ve been trying to get my thyroid under control for about 2 years now. My meds were just increased from 2.0 to 2.25 today. I ve been trying to at least walk a mile a day and today my shins hurt so bad I had to stop. Could this be because of my thyroid?

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got stress fracture of tibia .It is due to overexertion however thyroid also to some extend contributed to it . Treatment of it is rest till there is no pain on walking and analgesic such as diclofenac for pain relief. Get good thyroid control. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
