What Causes Leg Tingling And Swelling After Lymph Nodes Removal?

I had surgery removing minor lymph nodes in my groin and a patial vulvectomy on 9/18. The doctor told me to stay laying down as much as possible the first week. Today was the first day I spent a great part of the day trying to sit comfortably and I was walking doing minor household choirs. Tonight the leg that where the lymp nodes were removed tingles and is swollen, like a hard lump. No fever.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that your lymph node of groin were removed along with half of vulva . Due to this the lymphatics in the effected lower limb were somewhat disturbed . This is normal after such surgeries. As you have no fever so no need to worry much.It will gradually settle. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
