What Causes Light Bleeding And Cramping With Nausea?
Hi my name is Mary, I have not had a period in a little over year. As of 4 days ago I have noticed pre- period signs such as darker but very light bleeding and very light redish bleeding, it has stopped and I have had light cramping and nausea. I am also getting motion sickness and mood swings. Could it be my period trying to start?
As per your description it might be related to premenstrual symptoms. Since you haven't had your period over a year so here I would like further information for better assessment of the condition like your age. Are you sexually active or whether you are having kids? Are you taking any contraceptive measures?
I would advise you for a battery of investigation like ultrasound to rule out PCOD, endometriosis and investigation to rule out genital Tuberculosis and other infection or pelvic inflammatory disease and hormone studies to establish a diagnosis. In my opinion you should relax during this period. Take adequate rest, have lots of fluids to maintain good hydration and that will also help by flushing off the urogenital tract.
Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to ask for follow up question I will gladly answer you.
Best wishes, Dr. B R Hudda
