General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi, I understand your concern. - Bleeding in pregnancy may be from pregnancy( fetus) -- The bleeding from pregnancy at 8 weeks is usually due to hormone deficiency. & replacement of the same stops it. You don't seem to have active bleeding, the blood stained discharge may be from old bleed collected in uterus. Take rest & take medicines prescribed regularly. Don't worry. -It may be bleeding from birth canal.( some lesion at cervix ( erosion, polyp), vagina ( abrasion, inflammation of glads at orifice- Bartholin's abscess) In such a case diagnosis is by internal examination. Consult a gynecologist & get treatment as per cause. Thanks.
