Hello, I am an adult female with fine light brown hair all over my body. The hair is about a half centimetre long, some places longer. Its very noticable in certain light and makes me very self conscious. Do you know why i have it? What can i do about it? Is it genetic? I know some of it is in my genes but my mother don t have hair on her breasts like it! Thanks!
Hello, light brown hair on the body are vellus hair and is a normal thing. You need to consult a dermatologist if you have excess of hair in ur intermammary region, infraumbilical region, chin, cheeks, because that may be hirsutism and an evaluation is required for the same. Take care.
