Hi doctors please help me out.I am into tenth week of my pregnancy.Yesterday i had a light brownish discharge with odor from vagina. It then stopped and after some 15 mins there was very little cremy yellowish discharges.
But its very less(like a point)....It didnt come out as a discharge but i noticed it when cleaning outer vagina with cotton.Online doctors please suggest why it is so and whether its harmful...Plz Plz i am so scared
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion there might be vaginal infection leading to altered discharge. The brown spotting might be cervical bleeding admixed with vaginal discharge. So i suggest you to consult doctor and get examination done to rule out vaginal infection and get treatment accordingly. And if the brown discharge or spotting recurs then the causes for it like any thyroid hormone abnormalities or progesterone insufficiency or cervical bleeding or any low lying placenta needs to be evaluated.Avoid stress, physical strain and intercourse.Take adequate rest and fluids upto 3 litres. Best regards...dr.srilatha
