What Causes Light Headed Feeling & Tightness In The Chest?

I am a diabetic, my glucose this morning was 186 but I haven t tested again. At lunch I felt a little light headed and now I feel dizzy and tightness in my chest, I want to take my bra off but I am at work. I thought it I ate something I would feel better but it didn t work. Not sure if this is a real problem or I am just tired and ready to go home for the weekend.

Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com. I understand your concern. Acute onset chest tightness, lightheadedness and dizziness definitely needs to be evaluated. If you would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have advised you to get an urgent Electrocardiogram(ECG) done to see for any cardiac abnormality.Also, your Blood pressure and blood sugar needs to be checked for as fluctuations in these parameters can result in such symptoms.Please visit a physician urgently.I hope it helps.
