What Causes Light Menstrual Bleeding?

Maybe, I ve been having some light periods since being on birth control for about 9 months and my boyfriend and I have sex regularly. This last period was very light, lighter than normal but lasted about the same time as usual. I m just concerned to keep taking my pill this week, but I have taken one yesterday.

Hi, I understand your concern. It is normal to have lighter periods while one is taking birth control pills. So, you need not worry. Birth control pills are known for decreasing the period flow. I would suggest you to continue taking pills regularly and at the same time of the day for best results. If you miss your periods while you are on pills, then it is a point of concern.
Hope this answers your question. Please do get back to us if you have further questions.
Wishing you good health.
