What Causes Light Period After Copper T Removal?

my wife was having copper t since 4 years..before few months i.e March we got it removed as we are planning for a baby. Now the periods are very very light jus few drops and still no signs of pregnancy. She does took OOsure as prescribed by the doc. Does light periods have to do anything with getting pregnant. And what should be done to get back to normal periods Please suggest

Hi, it can happen normally after copper t removal. But just to be sure, do a thyroid profile and prolactin levels and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries. If any treatment is required, consult a doctor. You can try some medicines for growth of follicles and track the follicles growth by repeated ultrasound. When follicles reach a size more than 17 to 18 mm, take injection for rupturing the follicles. Be in contact for next 2 to 3 days. Take progesterone for next 2 weeks. Do a urine pregnancy test at home after that. Hope I have answered your question.
