What Causes Light Period?

Last month i bled for one day almost. well i used one tampond and i didnt need another later .Is that a period cause i didn't receive my period this month and i feel like I've never not had a period but my daughter is 5 so its been a while but I'm also feeling movements very strong kicks am I pregnant?

Hi,
I understand your concern.
Light period may be due to hormonal imbalance, recent illness/weakness, anemia,or some times pregnancy as you suspect.
regular menses followed by asingle month scanty bleeding & then no periods -even if it's pregnancy, can not have fetal movements to the extent of kicking.
These movements may come out of intestinal movements due to gases, psychological in origin.( pseudo pregnancy)
The only solution to this doubt is -
- blood pregnancy test,
- USG abdomen.
