I took hpt today which I should be 5weeks along and it was negative. I have had increased urination and fatigue and hunger. Could i still be pregnant?

Hi,
A home pregnancy test performed with a fresh early morning sample 3-7 days after a missed period in a regular cycle, should usually read well. In the current scenario, you can wait for a couple of days to repeat the HPT, or go for the estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres, which is more sensitive. If positive, this bleeding could mean an implantation bleed. If negative, this could mean some transient hormone imbalance. Either-way, a trans-vaginal sonogram is going to be useful. Take care.
