Hi,
Menstrual cycle between 21 to 35 days can be considered as normal. Minor fluctuations in menstrual date, flow pattern can be seen due to many conditions, like:
-Psychological factors like
stress an strain by affecting reproductive
hormonal levels.
-Changes in diet, sleep or exercise pattern, etc. also can do the same.
-Poly cystic
ovarian disease etc.
Premenstrual spotting can be seen due to hormonal fluctuation leading to the shedding of part of the endometrium and that may follow regular periods soon.
So, possibly you may get periods soon. If the spotting persists without regular flow or recurs in next menstrual cycles, you may need evaluation.
Clinical examination and
ultrasound helps in getting the preliminary idea about the problem, further investigations and treatment can be planned accordingly.
Taking regular, healthy, balanced diet, regular calorie burning exercises and maintaining normal
Body Mass Index will help in regularization of menstrual cycles and flow.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
