What Causes Lip Bruising With Cyanosis And Tiredness?
Hello My daughter is 8 years old and I just noticed strange bruising on her chin inner lip and purplish coloured lips. I asked her of she hurt herself and she said no. I asked her if she got hurt at school yesterday an she said no. She looks tired that s about it. She does however have medical issues incontinence of the bowel and bladder she has a mitroffanoff for the bladder since 2009 and currently for the c-tube to be inserted for the bowel. We just returned home this week from check ups at sick kids in Toronto ontario so could be viral that something she picked up. I m very concerned with no idea what to do. Everything I search says cancer and well I m not going to just jump the gun an panic. Could u please give me some advice before we rush to a hospital.... Please and thank you

Bruising of chin with purple lips in a 8 year old child could be due to many reasons like idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura, leukemia or platelet disorder.
In my opinion, you should do complete blood count with peripheral smear to confirm the diagnosis.
