What Causes Liquid Discharge From Anus After External Thrombosed Vein Removal?
I am currently experiencing a liquid discharge (smells like fish) from the annus. I have been diagnosed with internal hemerhoids and have in fact had a banding procedure. Additionally, I have recently had an external trombosed vein surgically remove. However, is their an ointment that I could use to prevent irritation to the skin around the annus. Thank you
Hi Yes there are many formulations available in market,But you would need a prescription for that. Ointment containing calcium Dobesilate along with lignocaine ,Hydrocortisone acetate and zinc cream can be used on the inner aspects of anus, and Mucoporin can be used externally to provide relief from itching. The liquid comming out should be sent for routine and microscopy test. Thank you.
