Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m having very small liquid filled objects in my stool. They are about 3/4 inch long with what looks like a hair on one end. They are about 1/16 inch diameter. There are 20-30 or more floating in the toilet after a bowel movement. What could they be?
I understand your problem.. Gastroenteritis may cause this type of symptoms. Low fiber intake in diet cause stringy stool.
If this problem is long standing than think about irritable bowel syndrom. Intestinal infection by bacteria or viral or parasitic infection cause fluid stool. Celic disease may ruled out. Proper history and investigation helpful for diagnosis. Stool examinationtest is helpful for checking any infection present or not.. Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
I hope my guidance is helpful to you.. Take care. Thank you.
