What Causes Loose Bowels And Cramps In A 14 Year Old Boy?

My 14 year old son has loose bowels and cramps. Has passes loose bowels twice . Just gave him zenflox -oz which was prescribed by the doctor last month for a similar problem as all doctors are not available today being the Chinese new year.hope I did right.
