What Causes Loose Stool Post Cefdinir Intake?

My 13 month granddaughter is visiting from England and had a 5 day dose of augmentin before coming for an ear infection. After flying over she perforated both ear drums with pus in both ear canals. She was seen in an urgent care and given a 10 day course of Cefdinir _~ 150 mg a day once a day- she weights 21 #). Today she took her 3rd daily dose and had 5 loose stools - leaking through the diaper. Otherwise she appears well and ear drainage has disappeared. Should we decrease the dosage, split into 2 smaller doses a day or discontinue the medication? Thanks in advance.

I will suggest to continue taking the hole medication as it is important to take the antibiotic as long as told to cure the infection. Ear infection need their time to be removed and you should be patient. This means 10 days with 15 -a day Cefdinir and than see the doctor again to be sure everything is ok
