What Causes Loose Stools In Babies?

hello, my 6 months baby getting loose motion past 6 days .its going regularly now and 5 min after giving food the motion starts ..we met a doc n gave medicine but no improvement..pls suggest good medicine n way to stop.last mnth baby weight 6.9 but now only 6.2.

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic.

What your kid is having is not a diarrhea and is only a gastro-colic reflux. It is quite common for babies of this age group t pass small amount of diarrhea or loose stools soon after feeds. This need not be treated as diarrhea and especially antibiotics are not indicated.

Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry.
