What Causes Loosing Control Of Bowel Movements?
my husband takes cholesterol medication and now he can't seem to get to the bathroom quick enough and he "loses control" of bowel movements. He now says the medication is "sluffing the bad stuff out of his system". I can't say that I really believe cholesterol meds do this, sluff off the bad stuff. Please help! I don't want to get mad but this is getting crazy

Cholesterol Lowering Drugs like pravastatin and rosuvastatin may cause diarrhea in few people. It is a side effect of the drug and drug not pumping the cholesterol through feces.
So, he may be suffering from side effects of the drug or bacterial infection of the stomach. To decide what it is please consult your doctor he will examine and investigate and treat you accordingly.
