Hi,I am Dr. Amitkumar Sharma (Internal Medicine Specialist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have recently started taking Dytor plus 20 for the swelling treatment of my legs and within two weeks swelling has reduced substantially. In the meantime I have started taking Orlistat 120 twice a day for the treatment of my obesity. Since last few days I have started feeling loss of my appetite which is bothering me too much. Is this side effect temporary or lasts for a long time? Should I discontinue taking these medicines or continue to bear with my loss of appetite problem.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Loos of apettite is a temporary side effect of Orlistat. It will probably lessen as you continue treatment with orlistat. I suggest you to continue the medication.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
