What Causes Loss Of Haemoglobin?
My Sister is 24 years old and her weight is only 35 Kgs. Her Haemoglobin has falled down to 6 and her hands look pretty white indicating very less blood. Usually, her haemoglobin falls in Summer. In 2005, she was admitted to hospital for low haemoglobin. After treatment, her haemoglobin again reached 12. Now recently again it is showing as 6. Is this problem Anaemic? She eats everything including carrots and beet. What could be the root cause ? What should we do ?

I understand your health concern, if I am your doctor I suggest you that girl if 24 has active bleeding in terms of menstruation. If such a girl do not have good food plus hematinics than chances of anemia increases. I advice Livozen Z tablet twice daily until haemoglobin reaches above 10 gm there after one tablet a day until haemoglobin reaches normal level plus 3 month to replenish the iron store. Please give him good dietery support in terms of green leafy vegetables and iron reach source like wheat etc.
