Hi...
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns...

As per your complain loss of sensation over the lip and nose after traumatic injury seems to be due to damage to the nerve ending leading to reduced sensation in that area and causing numb feeling..
It can be temporary and can be caused due to inflammation and swelling in that area along with transient injury to the nerve endings..
In case if any larger nerve branch has got damaged due to injury there can be a permanent loss of sensation, although chances of transient loss are more..
You should continue taking the medication and do warm compresses over the area..
Wait and watch for atleast a month and take vitamin B complex supplements as it help in nerve healing..
In case even if after one month the sensation does not improve you can consult a Neurophysician and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
